Some time ago, I was removed from a chat group.
Yesterday, after nearly a year, curiosity led me to check in on the people who had once been active participants in that chat.
While I am still engaged in that particular topic, I noticed that several others have either quietly faded away or shifted their focus to different social circles.
Surprisingly, even those who were in charge seem to have undergone a complete transformation—some have even moved on to entirely different areas of interest, as if they had changed continents in a metaphorical sense!
I have no idea why they moved on or what exactly happened to cause such a shift (… after all, I was booted from that group).
However, I have observed that online social groups often amplify the presence of certain individuals, elevating them beyond their actual significance—like a voice that momentarily drowns out the others.
But over time, that dominant voice grows hoarse, gets lost in the background noise of ordinary conversations, and ultimately fades away.
Such is the nature of some personalities!
I am sorry for that group—it held interesting values that are now dispersed!
It is the classic tale of a digital battlefield where warriors once clashed in the grand arena of a chat group—only to mysteriously vanish into the void.
It is almost as if the self-appointed leaders, who once wielded their keyboards like swords, have now embarked on a grand odyssey of reinvention—perhaps becoming sages in new lands, or just fading into the background noise of yet another online debate.
The irony?
The fleeting nature of internet fame—one day a king, the next, a ghost.
